I did it! I did it! I finally did it!
I think I was born wanting to open an Etsy shop (okay, or at least since they were founded in 2005), but I couldn't decide on what I wanted to make and sell, and what would impact and benefit my family in the best way...so after years of creative thinking, practice test-projects and more ideas than you can imagine, I finally decided to put my bachelor's degree to good use and digitally design cards, invitations, scrapbook pages and such.
Right now my shop is still in the very early stage, and I'm still figuring out some things like photo layout for my vertically oriented cards, how to promote my items, and when to list them...but I'm having SO much fun and I'm enjoying feeling the rush of creative fulfillment. I've been staying up late and squeezing every last minute of design time out of naptime, and I'm loving every second of it! I only have a few holiday cards listed at the moment, but keep checking back as I hope to add more items after the weekend. :)
