Yesterday was a gorgeous day, so the boys and I decided to take our arts-and-crafts fun outdoors for a change. I kept them in "funky clothes" (aka pajama tops and old cut off shorts) so that I didn't have to worry too much about them getting messy, and then we got started on our projects.

We decided to paint an old box to make a fort. Sawyer was thrilled that I pulled out a mini foam roller and a few other non-traditional items (like my silicone basting brush) for them to paint with.
Sutton is always very focused when he's painting.
They worked really well together painting their box, and now that all those big gobs of paint are finally dry, tomorrow we'll be turning the box into a fort...stay tuned!
