I just realized that I totally forgot to post Sutton's kindergarten graduation photos from earlier in the month - oops!
He was so nervous to be up on stage in front of everyone! Being the super awesome parent that I am, I brought my camera, but left the SD card in my computer so the camera wouldn't even turn on...luckily Mitch had my parent's card with him, but it was nearly full, so I was only able to take a couple of pictures. That also means that I didn't get any video of the kids performing their songs either. Oops again!
Sutton fidgeted around like crazy and couldn't stop whispering to his pal Brody. Again, being the superstar parent that I am, I didn't even notice that he had buttoned his shirt crooked until we got home later. Triple oops!
When his name was called, he quickly walked across the stage and collected his diploma from Ms. Martin and a sunset colored rose from Mrs. Bryant.
Simon and Sawyer watched the show, and Sawyer sang along quietly since the classes performed the same songs that Sawyer performed at his graduation last year. It was actually a really good thing that Sutton sang the same songs because I knew what to expect and didn't get nearly as weepy this time around.
The happy kindergarten graduate! I think the most exciting part of the day for him was the fact that he got to leave school early at 10:45, go out to lunch, and then stay home for the rest of the day. Sawyer got to come home early too since he had an ear infection, and I didn't want to leave him at school when he wasn't feeling 100% ready yet.
My boys munching cookies and strawberries after the ceremony. After I took this picture I tried to get Simon to put his berry down so that I could get a nice shot of all three of them together (since that never happens!)...and then the camera battery died. Oh well!
