Sutton picked out this hat from the dollar store, and the boys have all been taking turns wearing it. Sawyer has the top of it smooshed funny and bubbled up in these pictures, but it's actually pretty darn cute. They remind me of mini versions of my grandpa when they wear it. They love it so much that Sutton even wore it to school today!
Andrea gave Simon a pair of bunny ears for Easter, and he wore them for the ENTIRE day! That's crazy since he usually hates to wear hats!
He loves to dip the bubble wand and then make someone else blow them lol!
The boys had a sleepover in our room on Saturday night, and they woke us up bright and early on Sunday after the Easter Bunny visited us.
Sawyer got new flip flops, a couple of new books, candy and other little stuff. His favorite thing was a set of Uno cards. We have now played Uno about a million + uno times since Sunday.
Sutton also got new books, a mini Mario race car, Math Dice, and candy & little stuff.
Simon (in the ears again!) got the game Zingo, and he loves it!
It poured all morning long, but by the time we headed to my parent's house in the afternoon the sun had started to peek out. It was actually really nice and warm!
Me, Kari, Lesley, Kelley & Jessica. It was so funny that Jess and I wore the same (but opposite) bright color combo that day!
Sawyer being goofy and trying to make his littlest cousin, River, laugh...
...it worked.
Ready to hunt eggs! "Can we go yet? Is it time? Please, please, please!?!" There had to have been around 300 eggs hidden all around my parent's yard. They have the BEST yard for egg hunting!
My parents had rigged up an elaborate plastic canopy over a big chunk of their yard just in case the rain continued. It ended up being sunny out from 1:00 until 5:00, and then the wind suddenly picked up, and it started raining again. It was SO nice for the entire afternoon of barbecuing and egg hunting though!
We tried to take a nice family portrait, but the big boys wouldn't stop for long enough to take a picture, and Simon was squirmy, so this is all we got. It is SO us...I think I need to frame this one!
Sutton was the winner of the special super-duper-hard-hidden $5 egg!
