Everything Easter: A Photo Overload

The boys' bunny loot

The Kundin family had a great Easter! We enjoyed spending some time with our dear friends and family members, several of whom we hadn't had a chance to visit with for quite awhile. Many, many thanks to all the wonderful people that gave the boys special treats and goodies and ensured that their Easter was a whopping success! xoxo

Sutton coloring eggs with Aunt Krista

Granddad and Sawyer using food coloring markers to draw on the colored eggs. Sawyer cracked everyone up by announcing that Granddad's bunny drawing was not a bunny, but rather it was an "Easter Moose"

The Easter Bunny brought the boys buckets filled with lots of goodies: jellybeans, a chocolate bunny, a few books, colored pens, Hot Wheels cars, a new toothbrush for all that sugar, and bunches of other little stuff. The boys loved it all, but since we were in kind of a rush this morning, we're going to take our time and re-enjoy it all again tomorrow morning.

Note: Sticking your tongue out at your kids in an attempt to make them smile for the camera will NOT result in the desired "nice picture"

Hattie, Holly, Chris & Holly's parents came over this morning for brunch and our annual Easter morning egg hunt.

We hid about 50 eggs in our backyard and set the kids loose

Sawyer had SO much fun hunting eggs this year!

Breaking open the eggs and checking out the loot

Mom's semi-annual chance to dress up her kids - for no real reason other than to impress distant relatives with how nicely our kids clean up ;)

After brunch we drove down to Gigi & Granddad's house. Papa Ron brought Sutton his early birthday present - his own ATV! This one has two-wheel drive, so it's extra cool and able to go over more rough terrain.

Hi Stelly!

We played some badminton

High five, Dad. Good teamwork!

We played some croquet with Victoria

We dug in the dirt and played trucks with Jedi

We found a new use for the croquet mallets - smashing giant ice chunks from the coolers into oblivion

And then it was time for another egg hunt!

Egg #1 contained two foil wrapped pieces of chocolate. Sutton considered this "mission accomplished," and the thrill of the egg hunt was pretty much over for him after that point. Luckily for him, he had a very enthusiastic egg hunting cheerleader in Mommy, and he was able to be coaxed into picking up a few more to fill his basket.

Relaxing with Daddy - all that egg hunting is hard work!

Jess & I - the mandatory self portrait

Being attacked by the Tickle Monster - he was actually begging for more, "again, again, please!"
